Educational Enrichments

Throughout the community, speakers (inside and outdoors) will be embedded. At various times throughout the day (12PM, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM, 7PM), Black American history facts will be heard on the speakers. This will provide a educational and fun environment for families and to bring awareness to children (and adults) on lesser known Black American facts. We believe knowing our history, creates positive self-thoughts, builds confidence and aids in creating a bright future for the next generation.

Lesser known contributors to Black American Excellence can be nominated to be featured on our Fist of Fame.

We will have QR codes near each fist that will allow guests to learn of accomplishment that landed them on the Fist of Fame.

Oasis Noir will have a piano available near the stage, where guests can show their creativity, inspire and teach music lessons.

Oasis Noir will hold music lessons- both free and paid events.

Oasis Noir will have Black artists represented throughout the community.

Art lessons will be available for guest- both free and paid events.

Like a nature walk, but instead, learn Black history facts along the trail. This will be in the form of a scavenger hunt.

New scavenger hunts will be created each month.

Educational Event & Seminars for both adults & children will be available.

Free events will include monthly:

-homebuyer & credit

-entrepreneurship classes (how to make a business plan, financing a business etc)
