Not a stranger to adversity she soon had to leave and return home. She then worked and honed her skills as a chef and soon attended the Art Institute of Tampa. Her dream of becoming a licensed certified chef was in arms reach and then tragedy struck. Her dreams were placed on hold again. But she was not defeated. She worked multiple jobs and continued catering for baby showers and church events. That is how Jennifer Brittany’s Catering was born. She eventually, took a job working at the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club. This is when her life began to change. Jennifer exceled in her craft by pursuing her passion and learning from the best. Under the tutelage of Executive Chef, Marcos Fernandez, Jennifer refined her culinary skills and he introduced her to fine dining and molecular gastronomy. This was a game changer for her career and business. She has studied Cuban, Mexican cuisine and was encouraged to try new techniques.
